EDWIN VAN DER HEIDE

is working as autonomous artist in the field of sound, space and interaction. In 1989 Edwin van der Heide started giving performances with custom build sensor based instruments. emphasis has shifted to the content of the environment and less focus
on the performer. The Laser Sound Performance focuses on the subject of composing signals that have both a structural musical quality and a time-based structural visual quality.
With lasers, van der Heide creates three-dimensional changing environments that surround the audience. Image and sound originate from the same real-time generated source in the computer.
