LET'S PAINT TV! (JOHN KILDUFF)

John Kilduff
is the host and creator of Let's Paint TV, a Public Access TV show in the USA which has since garnered international attention through YouTube, where some of the live episodes of the show have become incredibly popular. Kilduff places a heavy emphasis on multi-tasking: while he paints, he runs on a treadmill, cooks or blends drinks, and receives calls from viewers. Some episodes also contain additional tasks, such as playing chess, and he sometimes paints special guests who chat to him in the studio.
Kilduff himself is a qualified and exhibited artist currently studying for a MFA at UCLA in California. His aim with the television series is to make people of all skill levels try their hand at painting or other forms of creative self-expression.
The bizarre sight of an artist simultaneously jogging, painting, blending drinks and chatting to guests has led some to speculate that the whole show is an ironic piece of performance art. Kilduff denies this and states that he is completely sincere in trying to encourage people to do something creative.
The show is aired on Time Warner public access. He has made several network television appearances, most recently on 'America's Got Talent', where he painted a portrait of David Hasselhoff. Kilduffhas also been seen on The Tyra Banks Show, where he painted Tyra's portrait. He also appeared on the Red carpet for VH1 2006 Big Awards.
