Truly one of the best live bands I've ever seen.
DROWNED IN SOUND
One of the biggest indie bands in Canada, Holy Fuck have received recognition around the world. A truly post-modern electronic outfit, they utilize conventional instruments and unconventional non-instruments to produce their infectious, experimental electronica. No computers or programmed backing tracks are used.
Among their fans, they count Thom Yorke of Radiohead, MIA (with whom they have toured), and many more.
Their music has been featured on CSI: NEW YORK, Kenny vs. Spenny, and in season two of the Emmy Award-winning American TV drama, Breaking Bad. The current run of Chrysler commercials ("we're building a new car company") features "Lovely Allen," a track taken from their Juno Award and Polaris Prize-nominated 2007 album, LP.
They have toured with Wolf Parade, Buck 65, Mouse on Mars, Do Make Say Think, Enon, !!!, and MIA.
They have performed at some of the biggest and best music festivals on the planet, including Lollapalooza, Coachella,
SXSW, Glastonbury Festival, All Tomorrow's Parties, CMJ Music Meltdown,
Vergoose, and the Montreal Jazz Festival.
Now they're coming to Meaford.
