Bernhard Gal

Bernhard Gál creates electro-acoustic music as well as music for acoustic instruments. In his art projects and sound installations, he intends to alter perceptions, mainly by shaping acoustic, visual and spatial elements. His work has been presented in concerts, exhibitions and installations across the world, at big festivals and small venues. He received a few awards here and there and frequently gives lectures and workshops. His music has been published by Durian, Plate Lunch, Intransitive, Bremsstrahlung, Klanggalerie and Gromoga. When not abroad, Gal divides his time between Vienna and Berlin.
