The Coleman Lemieux Dance Company

was founded in Montreal in 2000, by Bill Coleman and Laurence Lemieux. They produce large-scale dance productions, including the acclaimed Grasslands (2004, Grasslands National Park, Val Marie, Saskatchewan) and Convoy P.Q. 17, a Russian-Canadian co-production that premiered in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2001. In 2005, it was remounted in Russia as part of the 60th anniversary celebrations marking the end of WWII.
